Monthly county tax collector's reports, 1887-1888.

This series contains monthly reports filed by tax collectors with the county treasurer who, in turn, forwarded the reports to the State Treasurer for accounting purposes. The reports include the name of the collector, the month reported, the amount of state and county taxes collected from each beat of the collector, and an affidavit at the bottom of the form for use by the county treasurer. This series is similar in function to the County Revenue Receipt Register and the Tax Collector's Receipts Report series created by the Dept. of Finance, Division of Control and Accounts.
